Malini-Natasha Blockbuster Jodi to Return?

The most successful director in the history of Trollywood Kanti R. Shah is coming back with a controversial new Trollywood film. This will be the second film from BPP on the same genre – life insurance. About a decade ago, KANK starring Malini Malhotra and Natasha Rai had become a smash hit as well.

This 2018 film titled “Jeevan Bema,” is loosely based on last month’s smash hit Hollywood film “A Simple Favor.” In this film, Stephanie becomes best friends with a slightly strange woman name Emily. While Stephanie is a responsible woman who runs a vlog and is very independent and self-sufficient, Emily is very sweet but has a dark side where she wants to get rich quickly at any cost. One day Emily asks Staphanie to pick up her son from school and then completely disappears! Months later, police find Emily’s dead body drowned in a lake. No one knows what happened to Emily and how she drowned to death. Tired of cops unable to find her, Stephanie takes matters to her own hands and starts looking up Emily’s past to find out why she ended up dead in a lake. Just as she gets very closer to finding out what happened to her, Stephanie gets a call from her best friend – Emily!

We reached out to Kanti and confirmed that he has actually started working on the script and look for Jeevan Beema. “Yes, I was startled by this film and I can say that my film will be 80% based on A Simple Favor. I am changing the ending slightly to have a more realistic desi ending and to give people a reason to watch my film.” Kanti did mention though, that while he is working on completing the script by October end, he has a very specific cast in mind. “As you can see from the Hollywood version, my film requires very realistic and edgy portrayal and I need outstanding and mature actresses. The new young girls like Alisha Bhatta and Deepika Parajuli are good but they are too young and lack the experience to play either of these roles. That is why I will only make the film if Natasha  Rai accepts Stephanie’s role and Malini Nanku-Malhotra accepts Emily’s role. I see no reason for these very talented actresses to take sanyas because these days everyone from (until recently) Sridevi and Madhuri to Juhi are making successful comebacks. In the meantime, I would ask fans to please request Natasha and Malini to accept this comeback challenge. If they are with me, I promise to deliver the biggest blockbuster yet!”

There are so many questions we have for Kanti on his preferred star cast. But for legal reasons, we will let it go this time.

Malini Nanku-Malhotra: Dead at 61

As many of you are already aware by now, Trollywood's one and only veteran actress who ruled the hearts of thousands for decades, passed away on June 6, 2017. At T-Fare, we have known about Malini's passing for several months now but out of respect for the wishes of her son and also her best friend Neetya, we did not publish this news. We were asked to wait for a 1 year period after her death, which expires today.

We wanted to share news of her sad demise with all her fans and well-wishers as soon as we could legally do so. Her son is still not ready to make a comment. Her best friend Neetya stated, "words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by the loss of Malini. Like her favorite character Chandramukhi, she had a heart of gold and loved all her fans for their support. I can only assure her fans that Malini will never be forgotten and she is definitely in a better place now." Meanwhile, Deepika Parajuli her top rival and arch-nemesis stated, "I was utterly shocked beyond belief when I heard the terrible news of Maliniji's passing. My heart goes out to her children. Trollywood has lost it's biggest talent, who left behind a legacy - in her films." Meanwhile, her estranged friend Monisha Rai was "stunned, and honestly a bit uncertain about everything that happened. It was quite a mysterious death to begin with and left many unanswered questions for me. The way things were hidden for 1 entire year was very odd. Also, the circumstances surrounding her heart attack and quick funeral were puzzling because one thing we knew about Malini was that she was extremely health conscious. She just doesn't fit the profile of someone who would get a sudden heart attack. Maybe it is because there are so many lawyers and secrets surrounding her passing that make it difficult for me to digest. In any event, my thoughts and prayers go out to her family." Finally, we reached out to Malini's ex-husband, but Mr Malhotra declined to comment on this case.
During this 1 Year Anniversary of Malini's passing, we will continue to provide further coverage and comments from Trollywood.

Dilwale: Sneak Preview

Rajeev Malhotra: Dilwale is very important to me for a couple of reasons. First, I’m paired opposite my special friend and favorite co-star Natasha Rai after a decade. I’m excited to be reviving the hit Rajeev-Natasha jodi and am so glad that after years of struggle, she’s finally established herself as the #1 actress. Second, it marks my return to Trollywood after ages! So much has changed in this industry and younger actors like Summer and Faraz Khan have rightfully taken Trollywood by storm. Dilwale feels like it is my Shahenshah moment to see if I am still in demand and if I still hold a place in people’s hearts. If the film works, I will definitely be here to stay!

Malini Nanku-Malhotra: Dilwale is one of the most important films not just for BPP but entire Trollywood also. Since KANK there has not been such a big film with all bigest names of Trollywood. For me, Dilwale is definitely the best role I have played in my career as the entire film revolves around my love story with Saagar. I know fans always wait for my pairing with Natasha as in
the past I have played many hit parallel roles with her but in this film it's completely different as I am the lead actress of Dilwale. Stay tuned as I am sure my fans are in for a big treat this holiday season!

Saagar Malhotra: Dilwale is so important to me. My fans know that whenever I take on a project, it is because I feel it will be worth my time. Dilwale truly is an author backed role and an intense love story where I’m working with all the biggest names in the industry. Yet, to be honest, what I’m most excited about is the opportunity to finally work with my baby brother Rajeev again. For this reason alone, it will be a historic film not to be missed!

Natasha Rai: Dilwale is important for my career for mainly two reasons. First I have been paired with Rajiv Malhotra after a decade. We worked together in Bhansali's Silsila which was a super hit back then. So it was a pleasure to work with Rajiv again and hopefully we will give another blockbuster in Dilwale. Second, I am playing a role that is young, sexy and modern and definitely not boring. Dilwale is all fun and fresh!!
