DARR - The Diva Returns Opens 7 PM on January 7

It promises to be a 2015 feminist take of the original classic. Releasing on limited paid preview today and worldwide 2 days later on Friday, Darr – The Diva Returns showcases Natasha Rai, Summer Pandey and Faraaz Khan in love, passion and yes, obsession!  The entire cast is waiting in anticipation of fan’s reaction and in an exclusive for TFare, they have shared exactly why they feel this is a must watch to start off your year on a high.  

Natasha Rai: I have listened to my fans and have tried to live upto their expectation. I have come up with a new Diva look that I have never tried before in this new age film Darr- the Diva Returns. I have done my best to bring out the sweet and sultry look of Kiran that the mass has been wanting to see again but in a bolder, sexier avatar that is more 2015. See you in the theater!

Summer Pandey: I have always believed that when you work with the best, it improves your own talent exponentially. Thanks to BPP, I am fortunate enough to have started my career with a celebrated and talented actress like Malini Nanku-Malhotra. Darr 2 was pure joy as it pitted me opposite my fellow Nepali Natasha Rai as her lover. While Darr 3 retains the flavor of Darr 2, it is a must see because the focus is now on Kiran who returns to take revenge. My chemistry with Natasha has to be seen to be believed! 

Faraaz Khan: Darr 2 was a fanboy moment for me to be pitted opposite Natashaji in an antagonist role. Arun wanted a very 2015 look for Darr – The Diva Returns and I drew inspiration from Patrick Bateman in American Psycho and Christian Gray in the upcoming 50 Shades of Gray. The idea of a handsome and charming Armani wearing psycho is something never seen before in Trollywood. I am certain that under Mr. Bhansali’s direction, my version of Rahul Mehra will become a classic!

Natasha Rai Crowned The New #1 Actress

In an unprecedented and historic manner, Natasha Rai has been crowned the new Numero Uno actress of Trollywood. T-Fare carried out our annual poll, allowing viewers to vote for as many actresses as they want - since most people like more than 1 actress. Carrying a staggering 84% of the total votes cast, Natasha Rai has proved that she's overwhelmingly the favorite of almost all Trollywood viewers in 2014!

Natasha started her career as Sash Rai and with a career spanning over 10 years, she proved that slow and steady wins the race. She lived under the shadows of Malini Nanku for over a decade as the number 2 actress. Then 3 years ago, at a time when rivals were experimenting with bold roles, Natasha was doing roles that were considered too conservative and "plain Jane" for Trollywood. Critics at the time had dismissed off her career as being over. However, in late 2012 she made a stunning comeback, dropped oodles of weight and started getting noticed again. By early 2013 her bold and sensuous new avatar in BPP's Darr 2 was the talk of the town. All of these incidents set the stage for her to become Trollywood's most in demand actress in 2014. Renowned film critic Shonali Kapoor agress saying "Natasha is the most talented actress but for much of her career, she never took her career seriously. When other actresses focused on staying fit, wearing designer outfits, wigs and stellar make up, she was seen as being out of touch with the times. Her outfits seemed outdated, makeup was terrible and to add to it all, she used to be out of shape. We have seen a new Natasha the last couple of years. She has lost the weight and she's starting to experiment with sexy roles like the one in Darr 2. If she keeps up this act and focuses on styling herself like the diva that she is, she will rule Trollywood for decades to come. With all due respects to Deepika and Malini, they have a lot of style but not as much substance or class as Natasha."

It appears she's likely to stay on top since her biggest rival Malini Nanku is embroiled in legal controversy and the younger talent Deepika Parajuli has not been successful at the box office lately. Yet, all 3 actresses have big films lined up for release this year. While Natasha has Darr 3, Malini will be back in Jism 3 and Deepika in Tamasha.

T-Fare and BPP have come to the conclusion that sadly in the world of sensational journalism and social media, rumors can easily be spread and destroy not just our credibility but the credibility of our associates as well.

In order to set the record straight and communicate directly with our audience, we are restarting our online portal and putting an end to speculation regarding the casting of our magnum opus Bajirao Mastani. Two leading Trollywood actors are in advanced talks for the role of Bajirao. Malini Nanku has already been signed for Kashibai's role and we intend to keep our commitment to the actress irrespective of her legal issues.

Finally, there is no truth to the rumor that Natasha Rai has rejected our films or that she refused to promote her own film. This is nothing but a false rumor and BPP vehemently denies it. Natasha is a respected associate and like family to us, having done ALL her films exclusively under our banner. As for the casting of Mastani, as a matter of princeple, we do not reveal the names of those that we negotiate with for roles in our films. All of the top 5 Trollywood actresses are being considered for this role. We will make our final decision based on the following 2 criteria:

2. She must fit the role of Mastani
