Malini Nanku-Malhotra: Dead at 61

As many of you are already aware by now, Trollywood's one and only veteran actress who ruled the hearts of thousands for decades, passed away on June 6, 2017. At T-Fare, we have known about Malini's passing for several months now but out of respect for the wishes of her son and also her best friend Neetya, we did not publish this news. We were asked to wait for a 1 year period after her death, which expires today.

We wanted to share news of her sad demise with all her fans and well-wishers as soon as we could legally do so. Her son is still not ready to make a comment. Her best friend Neetya stated, "words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by the loss of Malini. Like her favorite character Chandramukhi, she had a heart of gold and loved all her fans for their support. I can only assure her fans that Malini will never be forgotten and she is definitely in a better place now." Meanwhile, Deepika Parajuli her top rival and arch-nemesis stated, "I was utterly shocked beyond belief when I heard the terrible news of Maliniji's passing. My heart goes out to her children. Trollywood has lost it's biggest talent, who left behind a legacy - in her films." Meanwhile, her estranged friend Monisha Rai was "stunned, and honestly a bit uncertain about everything that happened. It was quite a mysterious death to begin with and left many unanswered questions for me. The way things were hidden for 1 entire year was very odd. Also, the circumstances surrounding her heart attack and quick funeral were puzzling because one thing we knew about Malini was that she was extremely health conscious. She just doesn't fit the profile of someone who would get a sudden heart attack. Maybe it is because there are so many lawyers and secrets surrounding her passing that make it difficult for me to digest. In any event, my thoughts and prayers go out to her family." Finally, we reached out to Malini's ex-husband, but Mr Malhotra declined to comment on this case.
During this 1 Year Anniversary of Malini's passing, we will continue to provide further coverage and comments from Trollywood.

I was so heartbroken by the original diva's sad passing. She was a source of great inspiration to many of us young women in the glamour industry. But as her bestie stated, I am sure she's "in a better place" now. RIP!

I still don't believe and how did this happen 1 YEAR AGO? Why did the family want it kept a secret for 1 WHOLE YEAR? Makes no sense and it's very unfair to us fans. I thought she was alive for the last year.
I wondered why she has not done any new films since last May, 2017 but I thought maybe taking a break. No one can replace her versatility, energy and charisma. She was, still is the undisputed Queen Bee. Natasha and Deepika come and go but Malini and her memories will rule on!

Jo Mata Rani chahti hai aakhir wohi to hota hai na. Aur phir waise bhi marne ke baad koi kya leke jaata hai? Aakhir to sabko marna hi hai na? If Malini was 61, she at least lived long life aur kya pata uske akhri din bhi achche hi beete honge.
I say to all her true fans ki please always be humble and no matter what the rumours, remember that she was a smart woman and as such she must be in peace somewhere.
May Durga Maa protect you and yours. Keep the kind words coming and know that if she was alive then she would Thank you so much for your support and kind words.
Love always <3

Amrita had told me about how Malini is no longer with us few months back and that her family is going to inherit her properties and insurance by May, 2018. I honestly thought she was joking when she told me this. How can this be true?? Even though I had heard, I am still in shock yaar.
This is a sad day for all of us. I have fond memories of working with her last year for Dostana 2. She gave such wonderful feedback for the part I played. I will miss working with her.
My thoughts are with her children. I know she loved them dearly. That’s why she had the insight to create an estate for their well-being so they are well taken care of, after her passing. I also know she watches down on them and her blessings are always with them.

A Nanku - I think R was being polite and I would actually not have said anything but I am concerned too. That is because I have Facebook messages from Malini dating to March 2018. So even I was wondering if she is dead how come I am still receiving emails from her fb account? Something definitely seems off. I have evidence of this so I am requesting the moderator NOT to block my comment. Again, I HAVE EVIDENCE. I am not just making stuff up like some people here.
Also, keep in mind that this death or disappearance is coming after MANY similar incidents on Trollywood celebrities including NK, MB, A, RM among others. So why are you so insulted by it? R did not insult you in any way.
